The French Chef

French cooking is some of if not the most most infleuencial cooking in the food world, known for the fancy sauces, exagerated amounts of butter, wine and cheese to make it taste that much better. But to me the most inspiring part  of french cooking is the hidden simplicity. Underneath the bernaise and hollandaise you will find simple techniques executed perfectly then gussied up. Living in Paris for this year is going to be such an eye-opening experience learning the ways, going to the markets and eating it up.
I'm really excited to share with you what I learn this year, take you through my success' and of course a few failures along they way but mostly to uncover what I think is french food and how to make it.
As Julia would say...
Bon appetit!
Until next time, eat and cook well!

  2. I read about you in the magazine Girls Life and I just wanted to read more! You seem so entusiastic. It's just wonderful how you can follow your dream! Can't wait to read more about you and your new life in France.
Au revoir, jusqu'à ce que je vous entendre à nouveau!

  3. I read about you in the magazine and I have one word that describes you perfectly: passionate! I have a blog, too and I have a passion for performing and singing, and I love that someone else is crazy about their dream like I am! And your recipes look absolutely fabulous! When I get the chance to be near a stove, I'm going to try a recipe (and probably burn my house down, I can't cook!).

And have a wonderful time in Paris!
